"When I first came to this school I was very hesitant if I would like ASD. However, this school is amazing! It is extremely engaging for students who want to be challenged in the sciences and math. ASD is a school where students work hard to succeed. The teachers and staff are just fabulous. The school has a very friendly and loving environment. It is almost like a second home to me. It's a perfect place to be unique and just be yourself."

"The teachers at my school are very kind and caring about the students. They help each and every student and spend the time after class if the student needs help. They are very passionate about the subject taught which encourages the children to learn."

"Almost all of the teachers at ASD (The Academy for Science and Design) are very friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They are passionate about the subjects they teach and want to impart that knowledge into the students. To be fair, sometimes they over work their students, but that is the nature of the school. From 7th grade, students take sophomore level classes, and that trend continues through the other grades. They mostly follow a lecture style of teaching with a few exceptions, mainly the humanities department. Overall they are great teachers with only a couple bad eggs, but I wouldn't change schools over the teachers ever."

"Most of the teachers at ASD are great. There are a few who don't really put in enough work, but the other 90% of them go above and beyond."

"As a school and community, I love ASD. The people are all dedicated to learning and are approachable and friendly. The work load the school however is killer. In general though, the experiences I've had here I could never replicate anywhere else and think it was definitely worth going here"
