"I like how the teachers and students are connected at Souhegan. There are a lot of mentor ships and the teachers are always friendly towards us. Another thing I really liked about Souhegan is the food they serve in the cafeteria. The lunch lady's are always super nice and they make sure we have plenty of fresh food to eat. What I would like to see change is the security at our school; we don't have a security office and our doors are open all day so just anyone can walk in at any time."

"An amazing high school. It has all the usual public high school issues, but students have a very big say in the governance of the school and that makes learning what it should be. I just wish we were a "ranked" school in US News and other media pubs but they don't really spend much time "teaching to the test". The focus is on true learning and my daughter has thrived in that type of setting."

"We moved to town two years ago with young kids so I don't have children in the high school yet, but I've been a substitute in the school already, and volunteer in several areas. As a former educators I cannot believe a school like this exists in NH. I cannot wait for my children to go here. The biggest thing that differentiates other schools I've taught in is what we call in education "students agency'. Agency is the capacity and propensity for students to take purposeful initiative. Young people with high levels of agency are equipped for the world. This is the biggest thing your child will develop at Souhegan. Most schools spoon feed their students, and parents don't allow them to fail or experiement in developing their intellect. Not at Souhegan. These students are prepared for the 21st century. A century, where are students will be required to think for themselves. Souhegan is a special place."
