"My son is African-American and has attended Stapley for all three years of junior high and the education is second to none. I do agree somewhat with earlier comments concerning the Mormon community that is prevalent in many neighborhoods of Northeast Mesa. I wouldn't go as far as to say my son is an outcast. He has a very good rapport with kids of many races and religious affiliations. He's taking full advantage of the top of the line education and athletic exposure - both of which should set him up well for high school, college and beyond."

"Stapley Junior High School's teachers and their ability to teach and reach out to the students is wonderful, and being a current student I would know, but what I realized at my three years at stapley is there is no diversity at all, and the students and staff discriminate different religions, and don't include every student There is a closely tight knit religion and if your not 'the religion' than you are branded an outcast for life. The extracurricular activities are great but once again, if you aren't a specific religion for specific teams, you aren't chosen. I found it extremely difficult at my stay at stapley and I would not recommend it."

"Stapley is a dream school for students. There is somethng there for everyone, and the facility and equipment are modern and state-of-the-art. The have superb programs in music, drama, athletics, photography, Video Journalism, as well as many others. The academic standards are high, but not unreachable. There is very seldom discipline problems, and the few there are,are minor."
