"We have been in the school for over 8 years. We have found as the student progresses through high school the academic standards seem to suffer. There are some excellent teachers but with the school tuition cost it does not seem to compare to the quality that should be expected. The Board seems to be parents of preschool or elementary students so the Board does not address many of the issues at the high school level. The high school guidance office does not function at a level for a private school which is apparent when trying to have transcripts sent to colleges. I would shop around before making a decision to place my high school student there."

"The school has a few excellent teachers but some very poor teachers. The school favors children of alumni and teachers and therefore is not a fair environment. Athletics has struggled the last 3 years due to the turn over in the department. The school needs better stronger leadership and until there is improvement the tuition exceeds the value."

"This is my son's first year at Westminster, and we couldn't be happier. The education he receives is exceptional; his teachers are engaging and creative - yet also challenging. The school has amazing science, math and fine arts departments. Parents are friendly and welcoming - and the children are good kids. There is a lot of parent participation, particularly in the elementary school. Not a morning goes by where you don't see the principal or headmaster roaming the grounds greeting students and parents. I could go on and on... Needless to say, if you are considering WCS for your child, I encourage you to schedule a visit."
