"What an amazing school! We have had to move because of a job and my daughter and I both miss WAHS tremendously!!! The staff of WAHS care greatly about and for their students! The students are held to behavior levels that ask them to succeed, not just in school, but also in life. While there have been budget challenges here, as everywhere, the staff works hard to provide an impressive learning environment that gives the students opportunities outside the textbook and outside the classroom. Their music and drama programs are wonderful; their sports programs are fabulous! Parent involvement is highly encouraged, but, like most high schools, you have to be responsible for getting yourself involved - they aren't going to chase you. Our new high school is rated highly on this and other sights but it just can't hold a candle to WAHS!"

"West Albany is a great school. Budget cuts have taken a big toll in schools in the recent years and West Albany has continued to give their students the best educational experience. The principal is friendly and extremely involved in students everyday activities. Students and teachers work hard to let the school is a safe and fun enviroment. It's most definitely one of the greatest schools in the Willamette Valley."
