"Simply the best performing arts school in the twin cities. We looked all over and this was the only performing arts charter school that offered a challenging curriculum (a gifted and talented program and a complete AP course selection) as well as great performing arts opportunities. Our kids love it. The teachers are exceptional and creative. If you are looking for a private school at the cost of a public education - yes, this school is free. Then Main Street is your school!"

"Main Street is simply the best school we've ever seen. They have recruited amazingly talented staff. They focus on children in small peer groups with a rigorous curriculum while integrating performing arts. So if you are like us, tired of the big box suburban factory school that only teaches to the test, you definitely should try Main Street. Our kids love it and we know yours will too!!"

"Mainstreet (MSSPA) provides a nuturing yet challenging learning environment. MSSPA offers a wide offering of music, dance and theater courses, standard academic courses, plus Advanced Placement courses for students looking for more challenging material. Our son gets the benefit of small class sizes, teachers and administrators that know all the kids and what makes them tick. Socially the kids all get along well, and know each other. They do separate into peer groups, but are not cliquey or disrespectful of others. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the school and will likely send our now 10 year old to MSSPA when she moves into high school. The school needs funding to modify it's current building or look for another location. The school suffers from not having the 'prettiest' school but is a good example of 'its what's inside that counts' verses what's on the surface (decoration)."

"This is a fantastic school whether your child is artistic or not. Having gone through one of the many giant publlic high school settings, it's so refreshing to have our daughter at a school with GREAT class sizes, great class offerings, great teachers and administrators AND great opportunities and experiences."
