"I love the environment, most people are friendly and care. The teams I'm in are fun and exciting and supportive."

"My overall experience at MCHS was a positive one and I would definitely do it all over again, given the chance. One do my favorite experiences throughout my 3.5 years there were the Friday night football games- we had a pretty good football team and excellent school spirit. Another of my favorite experiences was Mrs. Rapsky's 11th grade English class, although I despised her husband's Pre-Calculus class senior year. Although they were some very saddening times, we had multiple tragedies strike families of MCHS students while I attended, and it was amazing how the entire school and community as a whole came together to support those who were suffering. That's something I will forever appreciate and cherish about Minooka (both the school and the community)."

"The students are racist. I have heard many teachers make sexist comments. There is no acceptance at this school. You get pregnant in high school? Everyone knows and is making jokes. You're a feminist? Prepare for the bullying and the horrible things spread about you, and when you bring it up to the administration, they usually blame you. If you aren't straight and white, you aren't welcome in a lot of social groups. Ever. And even if you are, it is only a matter of time until someone picks you apart for going against the grain. I can't tell you how many racial, homophobic, or transphobic slurs are spewed in a day. It is a very hateful environment not safe for minorities."

"From my perspective people are all generally accepted except for the few jerks that judge people before they know their story and then sadly sometimes even after"

"Some teachers give you the time of day, some don't. Some of them are funny and engaging, and others you feel like you could get in trouble for something pointless because of how strict or dead they are in their jobs."
