"Minooka high school has been the greatest four years of my life, the student body participates in spirit weeks and athletic events and almost everyone gets involved. One of my favorite experiences was our "Camo-out" football game. Almost everyone from the school came, so much so that they had to make the student section bigger and combine it with the parent section. Everyone had some sort of camouflage on and the school was really brought together. Everyone accepts each other and no one is left out. I will be leaving high school with some life long friends, and I thank Minooka for that and the awesome memories I have made through out the years."

"I have a handful of teachers that actually are involved, and have my classmates and I doing hands on projects. Most teachers care about my grades as much as I do and do anything possible to help me succeed, even if that meant staying later to help me learn a lesson. Then there are a few teachers that just don't care. My chemistry teacher junior year did not care. You could tell she hated her job, she had even told us she wished she never became a teacher. She would come to class every day and complain about her job and the students. She wasn't interactive and took forever to put in test grades, so I wouldn't know my grade until finals came, and that was inconvenient because I wasn't sure what skills I needed to work on and what skills I mastered. So, you get a mix of teachers at Minooka, some want you to succeed and others could care less."
