"Purdy, Missouri is a great community. I've had and still having a great experiences in this small town. I'm currently a Volunteer First Responder at Purdy Fire Department. I do this to help out in the community and to give back to the people that made this town great to live in. Being a First Responder makes me gain experience for what I want to be after I graduate High School. This lets me gain knowledge that I will take to EMT/Paramedic school. The school district it self is amazing, the teachers help out more then expected to those who needed it the most. The sports team here in Purdy are great. I'm a senior and play baseball, I'm a three year varsity player. I have received conferences, Districts, and state awards throughout Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. This spring I'm working to be better. Overall Purdy a great town my experience has got me to where I am today. I plan on going to EMT/Paramedic school to help out in this community on someone's worst day."

"Being a small school system, Purdy cannot offer the higher paying teaching positions as larger systems can but, that doesn't stop the entire teaching faculty from giving above and beyond. I have personally experienced many teachers going that extra mile with no regard for their time or pay. Each one is to be commended."
