"The school has undergone an amazing turn around. When I attended in the late 70's it was not a great place at all, but now I am amazed at how well the school is doing. Teachers who actually teach, students who are learning, and the overall environment is positive and inviting. Test scores are up, moral is up, and I the students truly enjoy going to school there. What ever the new principal has been doing the last few years is really working. Keep it up!"

"I currently attend Jefferson Davis High School. I am proud to say that we are improving every day. We have a variety of clubs and many parents are involved with Davis. Academically we started out rocky but we are still going good. The students at Davis have plenty of motivation and the majority of them use this motivation for other things, such as sports, clubs, and academics, and this motivation also drives the students to attend school every day (especially when we hold attendance contests between seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshman)."
