"Overall, I have had a very positive experience at Vista Del Lago High School. The teachers for the most part are extremely helpful and passionate about what they do. The staff do everything in their power to insure the success of the students. The students themesleves are respecful and determined to suceed. They are motivated to achieve thier goals. The campus also offers a multitude of clubs and activities that cater to the diverse population of students. Some of these clubs include, young film makers, MECHA, and Young Black Acheivers. The school spitirt is impeccable and everybody comes together to create a positive learning environment."

"Teacher are very open to what students have to say. They are always there for you if you need someone to talk to. They made learning somethimes super exciting by using technology and the students could have a friendly competition. Also the teacher play songs that will help us us learn things. For example in math we learn functions and in anatomy and physiology we learn the bones or parts of the brain. That's just a few things teachers do that make learning fun."

"Some teachers do their best to keep students in engaged and bring out their full potential. They create lessons that include multiple styles that appeal to numerous students. They also utilize positive reinforcement and maintain a positive attitude throughout the class. Students tend to leave the class feeling as if they have absorbed as much information as the could have. These teachers emphasize how much they care about their students by offering extra support and staying after school to answer questions. While some teachers teach passionately, there are also teachers that are completely disengaged from the students. They give out busy work only for the sake of keeping the class from getting out of control. The students are not interested in the lesson and the teacher does little to keep them stay engaged. They offer minimal help to the students that need extra support and it often seems that the teacher does not care for their students at all."

"The only great thing in my opinion about this school is the arts department. These teachers are very dedicated and care a lot about their students. They want to help their students succeed."
