"I visited the school about 4 years ago. Did not like it. But last year, I visited again. Things are quite different compared to previous. So I put my kids in. After a semester, I feel the academics are good. School staff is very caring. What I liked is, they have full time staff doing the yard duties. That's much better than parent volunteers. They make sure the kids are safe and playing with each other nicely. It made the difference for my kids (who tend to be shy). Crossroads had a beautiful indoor gym. Their after school sport leagues are absolutely my favorite. Having 1 hour of sports practice after school, with paying almost nothing extra, with a great and nurturing coach, I will keep my kids in it every season they offer! My kids grew almost an inch each, in the past 4 months we've been here. I also like the Band class they have. I believe no other elementary school in the area offers it. Maybe Jackson has similar music program. But they may not have the academics Crossroads has. Plus, it's a Christian school. I don't worry about kids being bullied."

"I am a former student who attended crossroads, & I have to say it was an awful experience. I attended the school for a year and a half and it was more than I could handle. There have been rumors about the school no longer having a middle school (which were the grades I attended), and if so, THANK GOD (no pun intended). While attending, the staff had made remarks to the students about same sex couples being wrong, thus creating an unwelcoming environment and fostering homophobia. Furthermore, this school lacks, diversity of students in various social economic classes, lacks instruction of the earth and physical sciences, as well as limited instructional methods that honor a students learning style, and especially class sizes that were way too small for a students ability to prepare for class sizes that would transition them well into larger institutions, for example, college, and high school.. In a nut shell - this school was an awful experience that did not prepare it's students to "the real world", and was far too judgmental for a growing child with a mind like a sponge. I highly recommend looking into another school."

"This school is behind, i was a student here, and it was really bad, the classes are to small, when to graduate from 8th and go into high school its way to much of a shock, the class size seem to go on forever. But when I left and went to another school i realized this school is to behind in its academics, You might think its because of it was a new school, new friends, it wasn't, I already knew a few kids their from Crossroads, so the first year at any new private school from this school would be a big struggle, even if the school isn't new to you. While i was at that school I was outside reading a story about Greek myths, then a teacher came right up to me, took the book, and i got into trouble, why, cause of reading a story about myths, the same thing happened to me while reading Harry Potter. It was like are you trying to encourage reading, or not? Also the teachers, I was being nice to a girl in my class by patting her on the head, the teacher thought i was hitting her, so i got suspended for two weeks, all because of a teacher who basically had no idea what is going on. DON'T TRUST THIS SCHOOL! They keep so much secrets from parents and students. I would say more but"

"Morgan Hill's best kept secret!!!! Inspirational and caring teachers in a wholesome and safe environment that encourages all children to be and do their best. An awesome music program for all grades led by a world class music teacher, Mike Rubino (retired from Live Oak). An amazing new Art program for all grades. A new healthy lunch program... the list goes on an on... I could not be happier as a parent of a thriving third grader..."

"I was so disappointed in this school. I had high hopes in the beginning and I was very involved in the school. The classroom was disorganized, one of the teachers was often out of it, didn't do her job-I was constantly having to run down information she was supposed to provide. The discipline was poor and the kids often ignored the teachers directions. I had to tell them to sit down and be quiet. My child consistently fell farther and farther behind and I had to supplement her education outside the class. It was also quite obvious that there is an "in-crowd" and if you aren't there, you are often ignored. By March my daughter fought going to school every day and would get sick often and come home. She became very depressed about school. Now she is excited to go to her new school"
