    "I'm surprised nobody has rated MMS in so long. My daughter started in middle school and has been loving it! What a great education and a great environment. It is something every child deserves, but few have the opportunity to get."

    "This is a great school in a beautiful setting. Highlights: performing arts for all contributes to the development of confidence, poise, an ability to be present in front of a group, as well as developing compassionate support of students for each other. Every other year junior & senior class trip to Washington DC after a year-long Values in American Thought class to interview leaders of government and NGOs. Alternate year trip to another country introducing the students to life in other lands and an opportunity to meet and interview some of the country and world's social and political thinkers. The students are truly treated as individuals and are gently lead to grow and make a contribute to the future. Our son has attended MMS high school; it's been a great experience. Would have liked him to have attended since pre-k!"

    "My 2 children have been at Mount Madonna School in the elementary grades for the past 4 years. My children love their school. The academics are challenging, there are other classes such as spanish, p.e., science, art, music. The environment is so beautiful. Being on the mountaintop in the redwoods is amazing. The teachers and staff are very caring. School has become a home away from home for my children."

    "My daughter just started in the 5th grade. She is completely involved in whatever she is learning, is challenged to think and problem-solve, finds the math interesting, and spends some time each day outdoors. I'm glad to see boys and girls playing in the fields and redwoods during recess and lunchtime. She is breaking out of her shyness and feels completely included in the class. Additional Spanish class, art class, life lab and PE are thoughtfully taught by respectful and intelligent teachers. Overall, I'm so glad that I overcame my resistance to the commute. It is well worth it; some days she travels by carpool and some by bus. Any concerns that I have are quickly addressed with care and an overall concern for my child's well-being."
