"Generally, the parents of the students at MHS are lax and blame the teacher if their child says that something isn't their fault."

"The parents here are not the greatest. Yes, there are some incredible parents who have had a tremendous impact on the school. Yet there are also parents who are far too involved, abusive, or even completely absent. The overcompetitive parents have been known to behave like high schoolers themselves (namely, in a negative way) when interacting with children outside of their own, or bullying teachers and/or administrators when they don't get their way- even when they're in the wrong. Cheaters get off the hook, and slackers get special treatment because of parental influence. As for the other types, well, MHS has its fair share of parents who abuse or neglect their children. This leads to negative effects on their children and those around them. Doesn't every school?"

"I've only taken higher level classes at MHS so I definitely can't speak for everyone, but (in the classes I've taken) if you aren't a jerk to the teacher, apply yourself, and generally do the work/stay awake then they'll treat you well and give you help if you need it. There are definitely teachers that do not live up to this principle, but I haven't had them myself so I wouldn't know"

"Some teachers are fantastic- National Board certified, fantastic AP pass rates, etc. While there are exceptions to every rule, most of the teachers are knowledgeable, care about their students, and do their best to get them to succeed."

"The teachers I have had for the past four years have been some of the most fantastic teachers I have had. Most teachers were very knowledgeable in their respected fields and made an effort to engage the class. If any issues were verbalized, the teachers would make an effort to fix the problem. I never had an issue talking things over with any of my teachers."
