"THIS SCHOOL CARES ABOUT TWO THINGS PSSA AND FOOTBALL. THEY HIRE PERSONEL FROM WITHIN AND IT SHOWS BY THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION. THEY DO NOT ENCOURAGE THE CHILDREN BUT ARE TRAINING THEM TO WORK FOR WALMART. IF YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK YOUR AN HONOR STUDENT. TEACHERS DO NOT GET INVOLVED AND ARE CONCERNED WITH GETTING HOME AT 2;30. MY SON FAILED HEALTH, NO NOTIFICATIONS WERE MADE TO ME. IT WAS A ONCE A WEEK CLASS. THERE WEBSITE IS LACKING AND IS OFTEN DIFFICULT TO ACCESS AS WELL NEVER UPDATED. I RECENTLY RECEIVED A PROGRESS REPORT AT THE THE END OF THE QUATER. A LITTLE LATE DON'T YOU THINK. THEY WANTED TO GO TO A COLLEGE TO MAKE IT UP. THEY WOULD NOT EVEN LET HIM TAKE IT THE NEXT YEAR. THEY ONLY TOLD ME HE WOULD NOT GRADUATE IF I WOULD NOT DO IT THEIR WAY. SO NOW HE IS BEING CYBER SCHOOLED AND HIS GRADES ARE MUCH HIGHER AND HE IS ACTUALLY LEARNING SOMETHING. THE GOOD PART IS THEY LOSE $8,000 TO $10,000. HE IS NOW TAKING HEALTH AND WILL RECEIVE A B+. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!!!!"

"would literally make us do x amount of Elementary-level Math problems, then sit with our heads down until the end of the period and would not less us get a single word in edgewise. I currently go to a private Charter School, and as a recommendation to all parents: avoid having your children go to public School. If your religious, then send them to the School your Church has. Otherwise, there are many Cyber Charter Schools in the state that are free that you can have your children enrolled in that I would recommend. I have been to many area Schools, and really none of them can get better then this, only worse."

"Overall, Crestwood High School is a decent school for students in the surrounding areas. They do offer a few AP classes that are extremely helpful and they offer the Young Scholars Program that gives students the chance to experience college life in their last year of high school. However, Crestwood lacks teacher involvement. Very few teachers are actually involved in their students' learning experience. The ones"

"As a recent graduate of Crestwood, I would say that my education from there has proved extremely helpful, especially compared to other public schools in the area. Crestwood consistently scored higher in standardized tests, for the most part, had teachers who truly invested in students and wanted them to succeed, and while it may not have a variety of AP classes for seniors to choose from, it's Young Scholars program offered them to take actual college classes on the college campuses, which I think is more worthwhile and a overall better experience than a student taking 5 or 6 different AP classes in high school. Its sports teams do fairly well, and is in a safer community than other schools in the area. Despite my strong desire to finish high school and get out of the area for college, I was glad to go there than anywhere else."
