"There are students from varied cultural backgrounds. They get along really well. There are barely any fights on the campus. Classrooms are peaceful and working in groups is fun.The teachers are strictly against bullying and encourage students to help and support each other. Overall, the students get along really well and there is no discrimination based on ethnicity or race."

"Golden Valley offers tons of AP and Honors classes for students to choose from. Electives like psychology/ sociology, Med Term, keyboarding, health, etc. are offered. Teachers are extremely helpful and try to help their students in every way they can to make sure that the students have a successful school career. The homework for AP and Honors classes is not overwhelming and is manageable. Teachers keep the students updated on information about topics like school activities, college applications, and scholarships."

"Personally, I have found it hard to make friends at this school. There is a cultural and intellectual barrier between most of the other students and me. If it wasn't for the color guard team, I would've probably suffered from depression. In my junior year, I am captain, and I use the highest form of equipment. The classes aren't especially difficult, but I have met healthy challenges accademically. However, most of the student body struggles accademically. They don't receive much support from anyone in their home life. I, being the only child of a vice principle, do not fit in. Despite my social dilemma, I would still choose my school again. I'm leading the team of my favorite activity in the world, and I am exactly where I want to be accademically."

"It has made my experience unforgettable. I really felt apart of the campus, I made a lot of friends and was able to get involve. I was able to represent my school in a state-wide leadership program as well."
