"There is strong parent support in this school community; my child loves the lunch time activities such as Lego club, Art club & Origami club that are run by parents. The music, art and digital art programs are exceptional."

"The music program open to all 4th to 6th graders is very well run; the teachers work amazingly well with the kids and the winter and spring recitals are always such a treat. My child learned Scratch Programming during the CSTEM lesson (half an hour a week) too."

"The writing program is strong. The kids use Khan Academy in the classroom and at home on top of lectures in the classroom. My daughter likes the Math program and was appropriately placed in one of their 3 lanes, starting from 4th grade. The teachers are responsive to parents' concern and emails promptly regarding concerns."

"The reviewer below who states this school has "all the special education students" is mistaken. There are special ed classrooms at Covington and Loyola as well. Additionally, there are special education students who are mainstreamed at EVERY school in Los Altos. Our experience at Springer has been outstanding. Wonderful teachers, great principal, caring parents and a rich variety of after school programs."

"Springer sadly stays the same - that is not always a good thing. Even with a new principal things haven't improved. In any private industry, poor performing employees would be let go. Not so at Springer or any Los Altos school. You have some exceptional teachers, and a handful of very poor teachers that really couldn't care less, and yet they still are teaching our children. This school has all the special education students, so the scores are significantly lower than the rest of the district."
