"The teachers are amazing at Mount Pleasant High School. I sometimes hear about teachers from the neighboring towns and I think how lucky I am to be a part of the Mount Pleasant High School. They are always happy to help me after school if I need help and if I happen to feel like like I'm a bother, they make that feeling go away by starting little conversations or making me laugh. It is like they know what it is like to be a student and how intimidating a one on one with your teacher can be. They are understanding and forgiving when I make a mistake and always try to get me back on the right track if I'm struggling to keep my grades up. I like to interact during the lessons, like raising my hand to answer questions. And if I get a question wrong, they are wonderful at making it so that it's not something to be embarrassed about. Weather it be with a joke, or a sarcastic "nope, but close!" Basically, I love how all the teachers are able to make all their students feel comfortable in the classroom."

"The teachers at this school are ones you rarely see. They are all engaging and truly want to help their students. They go above and beyond what they are expected to do. They want to make sure that all students have equal opportunities at things."

"Besides our poor quality school lunches, MPCHS is a great school. New students tend to say how nice and friendly we are compered to their old schools; however, they do complain about how small the school is. For a 3A school, we have lots of opportunities and our teachers do the best of their abilities to make sure we understand what we're learning. We have a nice variety of clubs from trap shooting to even a knitting club! Show Choir, theater, band, and sports are taken very seriously here, so if you're into that, you'll fit right in."

"As an artist in my school, the school has made sure there were plenty of amazing opportunities for the Art department, which is amazing because sports and music are usually the main focus. Since the school is moderately sized (in my opinion), teachers really have a close relationship with the students and almost everybody knows everybody or is like their distant cousin or something, which is amazing. We are very accepting of people from all walks of life and the popular people here are actually very nice, but it seems that the the younger students act very snobby, not all of them though. You can fit in anywhere here but starting off as a new student will be a bit difficult which is typical. I honestly don't want to redo high school-I worked hard enough!"

"I love this school because the music program is amazing and bring all kinds of people together. I would never choose a different group of teachers either. The people all know each other. We aren't all friends but we can all fall back on each other if we need someone. Most of us grew up together so we were all friends at one point in time."
