"My overall experience at this school has been pretty good so far. The studio art program and the dance program, both of which I've been involved in, are very underfunded compared to the athletics programs. However, I've had great experiences in both. The dance teams become a second family, and the art program is headed by a very experienced teacher who encourages improvement in all his students. This school is unique not in its unsuccessful campaigns for students to "keep it classy" but in its student body. There is an exceptional amount of high-achieving students at Chaparral, and these students form a community that supports each other. If I had a choice I may choose to attend a smaller school with better funding for the arts, but I still am very grateful for my experience at Chaparral."

"The academics at Chaparral are good overall, and vary depending on the classes you take. Taking AP classes means you will learn from a more qualified teacher, and it's safe to say that the AP teachers at Chaparral teach better than the strictly non-AP teachers. Underpaid as they may be, most of Chaparral's teachers are good at their jobs and teach the lessons well. If you sign up for more APs the workload will be much harder than that of a schedule comprised solely of regular classes, but this is to be expected. Free tutoring is offered to students, and the school offers all the resources students will need to succeed."

"Temecula is primarily made up of Christian, upper middle class families. It is somewhat racially diverse, but I believe white people still make up the majority of its citizens. Most of the time people aren't blatantly intolerant so much as unknowingly offensive, which shouldn't be excused, but still. There are some cases of intolerance and quite a fair share of Trump supporters, but it is a fairly conservative city so this can be expected. Chaparral preaches acceptance for all, and does not allow discrimination."

"Teachers, for the most part, care about their students and do their best to provide them with quality educations. If you as a student put in the effort, you can foster great relationships with some of your teachers. Most of the time, especially in AP classes, teachers will treat you as adults and encourage you to learn independently so you may be more prepared for college. Of course there are a few teachers that aren't as great, but their classes are still manageable. Overall the teachers at Chaparral genuinely care about their students and work hard to teach them to the best of their abilities."
