"We have great teachers at Murrieta Mesa High School. Many of them engage with students, form good relationships with them, and participate willingly in school activities for us. All of them are very smart and respected but a few do have their problems. Of course not all teachers are easy to get along with and not every student adores their teachers, but overall our teachers seem to do their best to teach the students and keep them on the right track for college or whatever plan they have for their future. They encourage us to do our best so we can excel at whatever our goal is for ourselves."

"I love my high school. I take much pride in being able to attend and I would recommend this school to anyone who asks. I actually am a transfer student to this school because I didn't feel like my assigned school for my area was good enough for my high school experience and education. The staff at our school always say that Murrieta Mesa High School is "the best school of the world" and I believe it truly can be if that's what you make of your time here. There are so many activities to get involved with and we are always encouraged to do so. If you aren't part of a club, team, or something extra curricular, you miss out on the full experience of this school and being involved makes it 100 times better. The students at my school are, in my opinion, the nicest in our district. Even our substitute teachers tell us they like teaching at our school the best. This is my last year here at this school and I am cherishing every moment. I like to remember all the fun things I've been a part of, like Homecoming 2015 when our school brought live animals to take pictures with, or one of our rallies where they brought in a really cool acrobat show, or our first day of school this year where they had a guy parachute onto our campus. Those are just a few things our school rewards us with for being great students, but I also love all the other activities I got to personally get involved with like being a part of our first year Link Crew Leader club, attending senior graduation as a junior as part of the Junior Honor Guard, or even playing on the powderpuff team with all my friends. I've loved every year here and I'd certainly do it all again if I could."

"We have pretty strong academic programs at Mesa. We have what we call "pathways" which are specific classes geared toward a certain career path like the medical, culinary, engineering, visual/performing arts, and liberal studies pathways. Those help a lot for people who need a track to a specific career. We have a wide variety of elective classes and are lucky enough to even have our own kitchen for academic purposes. As far as core classes, our advanced classes are challenging and rigorous with well educated teachers. We are usually the highest scoring school in academics compared to other schools in our area."

"From what I can tell, my school is very accepting of all people at our school. Almost all our students are involved in activities and that means that a lot of students know a lot of people. All of the different ethnicities as well as sexual orientations intermingle with each other very well and there isn't a much of a problem with intolerance at our school. For the most part, all of our students are accepting and tolerant of the variety of different people that go to that school."
