"The teachers at Muskegon High School, are different in their own way. Some teachers care and some seem to just be there for a paycheck and they honestly make that very clear. You can have 1 teacher who will do everything in their power to help you and then you will have a teacher who you go to after school for help and is never there or just tells you to figure it out. There are also teachers who control their classroom and demand respect for themselves, and then here are teachers who simply give up if their are students who don`t listen and hold the entire class accountable for 1 student actions. All my teaches do great with the grading the first couple of months of school, then they slowly fall off, they just start slacking. Most of my teachers teach the same, it`s normally just right out the book, it`s not anything that will grab your attention, or help you understand it. Their communications skills are pretty good for the most part, but they all have their moments when they can be very rude and sarcastic. All teachers have their favorite student in my opinion. Overall I do think they all have a good amount of knowledge in their specific category of teaching, and can break it down for you in a different way if they wanted to. I feel like it just depends on the teacher honestly."

"I have had many different experiences at this school, some are bad and some are good. My favorite experiences would be doing experiments in biology and chemistry class. It was just extremely interesting and made me look at things in a different way, it helped me really understand the effects certain things can have on an object and really help me get a deeper look in on things, I loved it. This school is unique because if your teacher dosen`t help you there is always a different teacher who is willing to help you even if they teach a different grade or subject if they understand it certain teachers will help you. I would choose this school again, because it gave me that extra push that i needed, and it makes me want to try harer to be successful just because it`s so much competition to be at the top."

"Many of the teachers at Muskegon Highschool are diligent and hardworking. They prepare us for our future, and they make sure that we are well equipped to do well when we go off to college. For example, teachers provide work and advice on how to do well on placement tests for college classes."
