"My daughter just graduated frm this school and had a pretty hard time in her AP classes due to not enough attention and not enough tutoring available. I found the guidance counselor not to be very helpful with her college or career information and guidance she needed. She came here from Florida in her 11th grade year, and struggled with her academics but exceeded in sports. That doesn't really help as far as scholarships are concerned. I was pretty much disappointed and expected far more from a Montgomery County school."

"Quince Orchard is great. It has great teachers, the academic level is high, and it also has many clubs in which any student can join. This school has so many different things one can do for extraccuricular activities and they provide help for anyone who needs it. The electives here are really fun too. Plus this school shows great school spirit and helps even the shyest of students increase their social levels."

"The academics are strong and they have a well balanced program of music, arts, and sports. There are a large number of AP courses available as well."

"The academics are adequete depending on the teacher. The asistant principals are terrific and always get back to you. The school is a very safe environment. So in general the education is okay/good, the environment is safe, the school is clean."

"My son goes to Quince Orchard. I am very impressed with the teaching and administrative staff. All are first rate. Should you be looking for a great school for your children, public or private, this is it. Before QO, our son attended a private school for three years (at a cost of $20,000 per year) in Potomac, MD. What we have found is that there is very little difference between one of the best private schools in Potomac, MD and Quince Orchard. On the other hand, his social development at Quince Orchard from a real world perspective is head and shoulders beyond what he was able to attain at the private school. I believe this is primarily due to the cultural and social diversity he has experienced at Quince Orchard. As a plus, our son is much much happier at Quince Orchard than he was at private school."
