"I have had 2 children attend and graduate from this school. My husband and I love the teachers, the principal and all the involvement from the caring staff. Our youngest child is a current student at Jefferson Junior High. We all look forward to this coming school year."

"Great teachers, but many of the students appear to be gang members/bullies/etc. Fine if your student doesn't follow the crowd and doesn't get into any fights."

"I go to Jefferson Junior High and I love it there. The teachers are great. The teachers DO NOT base their students on a popularity level, nor do they discriminate against them. Everyone is treated equal and pushed to do their best. I came from a school with tiny hallways with barley enough room to get around, JJH has hallways big enough to get to class on time and not feel closterphobic. Extracerricular activities are great they have a viraty of stuff to do. Like homework club, diffrent sports like flag football, softball, in the winter ping pong. And so much more! The fighting has gone down. After the first few weeks of school the fighting is down to a minimal. Saying at theast 2 or 3 times a week is an exageration. JJH just got new lockers in the hallways as well as in the locker rooms."

"Before I attented JJH I thought I was going to have the time of my life. I now wish I could leave this place. Teachers base students on popularity levels. If a student is clearly unpopular teachers ignore and descriminate them. Passing periods are way to short and lockers are way to small. Maybe 5 inches wide! And what's with staying one minutes after the bell rings!?!? Well other than that...kids at this school are not trusted. Basically alot of kids that attend here are low-class and we have a fight atleast 3 times a week. I'm concerned for my own safety everyday I attend here. The counceler says you can talk to her, but she's not friendly and isn't trustworthy. I wouldn't tell her a detail of my life even if she was the last person on Earth. Despite all of that, our sports teams are incredible."

"I have gone to Jefferson, and this is a great academic school, but their is a couple fights every week. They are also very good at their curricular activities."
