"The office staff is snotty, rude and does not know what they are doing. The disorganization among the office staff is apparent. Theis is important because they are the first, and sometimes only face of the school you will see. Some of the teachers could really care less about the kids or their safety and education. Better off virtual schooling!!! Or at least find another option. The new principal tries, but it isn't enough when your staff doesn't care!!!!"

"Redland has been a great experience for my children. My son graduated from there last year on the honor roll and now attends a magnet school. Thanks to the care and assistance of all his teachers he was able to achieve his goal. The music teachers coached him and helped prepare him for his audition and it was a success. I am saddened by the fact that they chagned principals. Many people said negative things about her but she was ALL ABOUT THE CHILDREN. Some parents don't understand that school is not a social gathering for parents and it was becoming a problem. I witnessed it first hand. My two other children are attending there now and thanks to my involvement and caring teachers my children are excelling. Thank you Redland Elementary."

"This school is awful and that is being nice. The administration and teachers (especially a certain 3rd grade reading teacher) could care less about the students much less about the parents. It seemed all we ever got was negative feedback and when we asked for help all they threw at us was stuff involving the FCAT. No parent involvement and a closed door policy. It is so hard to get in and just observe the classrooms. All they care about is getting the FCAT passed. Isn't it funny how they are no longer an A+ school. Can't wait for this school year to end and be done with that school. My recommendation to anyone thinking about sending their child there is think again. Especially for the 3rd grade. My son use to love school when we lived in Virginia and would come home with a smile on his face but now all he does is ask to stay home. Not the type of experience you want your child to have because it lowers their confidence and self-esteem. A big thumbs down to this school."

"Neeeds a principal that is not afraid of any ethnic group aqnd who cares truly cares about the school and the student in it. Her attitude is she can not tell the Teachers how to run thier class. Well then who can? Lot of Teacher abseentism. My experience was a wonderful kindergarten Teacher and then the teacher from he!! for first grade. She could care less and does not work with you. Seems she really hates being a teacher. What a shame. What really has happened to the school. How can one school have Principal who doesn't care and the Asst. principal is just counting her days unitl retirement so neither one wants to be bothered with something as silly as your childs education. My last review disappeared fromt hsi site. Lets see if this one stays."

"Terrible school no parents are allowed to be involved in anything. Teachers don't even seem happy here anymore many want transfers don't blame them look at the principal they moved in. Not impressed anymore used to be great school that I was very proud that my children attended enjoyed helping the teachers field day anything that they neede help in. Not anymore the spaghetti dinner proved that alot of people are unhappy here hardly any attendees compare to all the previous years there wasn't even room to seat. Sorry but I have to give it a bad rating."
