"I transferred into this school from another country my junior year, which was quite daunting. But most people were very helpful in assisting my transition which I really appreciate."

"It depends but most teachers are very dedicated and care about what they teach. Most are willing to spend their after school time assisting students in every way."

"My overall experience at Needham High school have been exceptional. Over my four years at the high school, I have made some extraordinary relationships with my teachers, other students, and faculty at the school. The teachers are always there to help as long as the student is willing to go and get the extra help that is needed. Most teachers go above and beyond without knowing the stories of the students but especially with knowing the backgrounds of their students. Not only are the teachers involved in the high school community but the students bring the community to life. Most of the events in the high school are brought to us by students with the help of other faculty in the school. There is defiantly something for every student to join the community whether it is through our amazing sports, the abundant number of clubs from tea club to robotics and beyond, or though one of the many choices of art programs including after school band, the musicals, a cappella, drawing and painting and more. If I was able to have this experience again, I would take it in a heartbeat. From the amazing teachers and faculty in the school to the friendships I have made over my four years. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. Though out the good and bad of my high school career, I knew I always had someone to talk to or to look up to when I was in need. Although this might not be how all students at the high school feel, I can defiantly say that my experience at Needham High School will stick with me for ever."

"I would choose this school again because I have been afforded the opportunity to obtain an excellent education at a public school. I live in the city of Boston but attend school in Needham through the METCO program, students like myself add to the diversity of the community and we are accepted"

"overall school both academics and athletics are mostly strong, several teachers in the highest level classes, accelerated, assign excessive homework. academic pressure on the kids from a parent's perspective is too high. athletic director is weak and given history of strong D1 performance across many sports he should be replaced."
