"my son just turned 21 and graduated from this school he was there since he was three , when he started he couldnt talk or even put his clothes on he has autism this school is amazing , the teacher and staff really love the kids and there jobs , If i had my way anyone with autism or special needs would be able to go to this school ,it offers the same things a regular school and more and the people there make your child feel like he is the only one in the school , he has made tons of friends , learned life skills , gym rec, ot pt, speech , class trips plus math , english you name it they have it ,they write in book everyday to keep you informed of your child day i just cant say enough good things about this school , i thank my lucky stars i found this school and i wish they had one in every town just like it for our special kids !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I think the CCMC fell from Heaven and landed in Neptune. Not only are they caring and understanding of these special young people but they taught me sign language so I could communicate with my son who has autism. He also rides the bus using the Kindercare bus company. Thank God for that bus company because any other bus company would of thrown my kid off the bus for his behaviors. They know how autistic kids are and they have Children Center staff as drivers and aids. I'm so greatful to the whole team."

"My son has been at the chilren's center since he was 3. He has had his share of good teachers , as well as bad. Although the teachers stay there is a very high turnover rate with the OTs/PTs/STs. This necessarily may not be a bad thing since children with autism need to learn generalization. There home program component is very week and doesn't get better as they get older. But they do try and I can say they genuinely care for the kids. Its not a perfect school and maynot be a good fit for every child but compared to what is out there, this is a good school and I will continue to keep my son there for as long as need be."

"My son has been at the center for 15years and when he came here he could talk , throw fits and couldnt read or do math . Now he reads everything he sees ,doesnt throw fits anymore .He works, and even swims ,he dresses himself . He has austim , if it wasnt for the childrens center I dont know what I would do. I am not worried about whats going to happen when we are older, because he has learned all life skills here. Even dealing with money. I cant thank the teachers and aides enough for there help. The people who work there dont do it for the money , you have to love your job and children to do what they do . They also have parent training so you can teach them the same things at home. Thank God for Childrens Center."
