"I have been very disappointed in New Haven Middle School. There answer to every problem is ISR or out of school suspension. Sometime when there is a disipline problem with a student it is a cry for help. Use your guidance counselor more efficiently. Also I am very disappointed in there music program this year. I know more kids that go on to college on music scholarships than a sports scholarship. I understand money is tight but you might be surprised how much a parents are willing to help out with things. As to the review about Mr. Prickett I couldn't disagree more. I have found him to be domineering and controling. He likes to use threats and intimidation with the students. He is a very poor listener and thinks that nobody else knows what they are talking about because of course he can't be wrong. Seriously considering moving!"

"I would like to say thank you to Mr.Pickett for taking my concern and my phone call. I appreciate the concern and thoughtfulness that you showed. This message is concerning the 6th grade English teacher."

"I feel this school has been wonderful for my son! As terrified as I was to send my 6th grader to a middle school I am very pleased! Kudos to the NHMS Staff!"

"I only wished that New Haven Middle School would offer Programs for students who are struggling in there classes like a tutoring program to help them focus on what they are doing in class and w/ there homework, especially students who parents work 2nd shift."

"My daughter loved her experience at NHMS. Her 7th grade teachers (Gretchen Hardesty, Sheril Miller, and Chris Popplewell) are top-notch educators. Her only regret about moving on to 8th grade this year is that they couldn't move up with her."
