"Stockton School is a GREAT school. Although it is small, its educational results are outstanding. Last year, the school rated the highest in the State in Science. The school is a place where every teacher knows every student. Social/civic responsibility and volunteerism are values that are stressed, with a mandatory community service requirement for all students. Language arts are strong, with French instruction starting in Pre-K, augmented by Mandarin Chinese in 4th grade. The school also has a natural science program starting in 3rd grade taught by a State Park scientist. Computers are available to EVERY student. The school does NOT have an indoor gym instead students exercise outdoors on the school grounds and in the park. Art programs enlist the volunteer mentoring services of the area artists. This school was founded in 1832 is the oldest and smallest 3-room schoolhouse still in continuous use in the State."

"This school is a wonderful enviroment to have your kids grow in. There is a very low student to teacher ratio. The teachers take time to give your child the one on one time they may need. It is more like an extended family. All the parents, teachers and principal are just great."
