"I got to meet new people and friends but there are a lot of rude rich kids going to this school. I took easy classes and got a job so right now I'm focused on getting scholarship money. My experience at east was fun but it could of been better. I was in art club for three years but since I have a job now in my senior year I don't have time to go to any of the meetings plus it really wasn't much fun. I want to go into culinary arts at Joliet Junior college but I don't know anyone else that seems interested into going into that field. The people here either can't afford or the parents are paying in full. There really is no middle ground. Ive had really nice or I 've really disliked them because of their teaching habits. I wish high school was 2 years instead of four."

"Some of the teachers at east are really nice but then there are the teachers that nobody likes. My past math teacher wasn't very nice and told us about jury duty on day she had to go to and didn't teach us at all. Or the in my sophomore history class the teacher spent half the hour trying to fix the computer. It was an old guy so it was expected. The science teachers are the best because they are a lot of fun and that's why science is pretty much my highest grade."

"I would have to say that in my past four years at Lincoln-Way East I enjoyed 90% of my teachers. Freshman and Sophmore teachers were very helpful and supportive as they understood that the students still needed some help adjusting to the new school. I would have to say that I definitely connected well with my teachers Junior and Senior year as most of my honors teachers saw us as young adults. All of my teachers were incredibly understanding my last two years when special circumstances started affecting my grades. Even the teachers whom had given off the persona of being bitter and unapproachable were supportive and understanding. Although I'm not always happy with an assignment, I've never had a teacher that I hated or thought didn't try. Almost every teacher was incredibly knowledgeable and tried to put students first. They're a large part of the reason why I loved education and my time at Lincoln-Way."

"Teachers are all for the most part friendly and engaging with their students and are passionate about teaching their students. All teachers have high knowledge of the topics they are teaching on and are consistent with their grading year to year."

"Of the teachers i have had, many have been very helpful and alway willing to help me after class if it was needed. I, of course, can not speak for all teachers and students because i know some people don't feel the same way. But, in my experience the teachers are very personable and happy to help, and love to teach!"
