"The teachers do their best to listen and help all children. The faculty involved with the special needs children are very good."

"Jefferson is a good school; if learning is happening, it isn't necessarily within the 'mainstream' classes, though, it's happening in Honors and AP classes. The teachers are all good, it's the students that don't have enough dicipline. Some administrators are disagreeable, but most are just enforcing the rules, and many are there to help, as well as being willing to."

"I believe Jefferson is getting better. Our new principle is very strict. Cell phones are not even allowed in the hallways or during lunch. After school detention is being held also. Fights do happen and like any other high school. But not as bad as it use to be. Students now have to stay outside when they come before school starts. IDs are a big thing at Jefferson and security has increase. Us Jefferson students are trying hard to increase our testing scores and most of the teachers do make testing a big deal. Over all i believe Jefferson is getting better."

"We have had four children involved at Jefferson and they are all honor roll students. Parents expect the schools to solve all of tier problems but the real education begins at home. We have been very pleased with the school. The staff is wonderful. Parents, spend more quality time with your kids and infuse this kind of self esteem in them...the schools are not capable of raising your children the way that you are. By the way, the new principal is fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!"
