"This is a wonderful school if you have a gifted child who wants to flourish in an environment that will foster them to grow. It is wonderful that creative children have an environment where they can be around others with similar interest. There is a choice whether to attend for arts only or for arts and academics."

"The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts is a great place to get an education in the arts! However, the academics taught there are very simple and inaccurate. I do not believe that they hire the correct people to teach academic classes, as they hire artists for that job. The school would improve so much if the academic classes were taught as thoroughly and accurately as the art classes."

"At NOCCA they really care about who you are as a person, an intellectual and especially as an artist. By having a humanities course in academics I have learned so much about the world and the history that shapes the way people act and interact today. I dont think theres another school were the teachers will give you the support that NOCCA teachers have given me. They really built a system around helping students succeed."

"In my arts discipline, I have absolutely no qualms with NOCCA. I think the instruction is near flawless, the community is helpful, supportive, and wonderful. My issue with NOCCA is the academics--and my issue is that it feels like a new school, which it is. While the teachers and subjects that we learn and learn from are amazing, there are still some issues with the learning that has to be ironed out--I am hopeful, though, and I don't doubt that that will happen soon."
