"I first thought that this school would be wonderful for my sons artistic talents. Unfortunately, it has turned into a total nightmare. His schedule not once but twice. The second time it was done, he wasn't even notified of the change, neither were his old teachers. I would NOT recommend this school. There is absolutely NO communication."

"I 100% do NOT recommend this school. The administration is VERY RUDE, and unhelpful! I tried applying, and they rejected me, because I wanted to enroll into twelfth grade, and not ninth. The principal had the nerve to look me in the eye and imply that I would tarnish the school if he accepted me, by saying that they "do have a reputation to upkeep." He tried to convince me that I do not need this school, and that I should get my GED and go to college. He told me that they are not giving me a rejection, but not a yes, either. Also, I will thank them one day. I did not feel thankful at all for having wasted over three hours of my day (Oh, YES, because even though they did not even CONSIDER to let me enroll, they gave me the audition test to take anyway)"

"This school is really great and supportive. It has changed my life since middle school. I was introverted scared of everything but this community at this school gave me so much support and helped me grow both as an artist and as a person. It helped me discover myself. It understood my problems and the non- judgmental type environment made it feel like home."

"If you are a good student, someone who earnestly tries to get A's, wants to take honors classes, and do your best, you will get killed at this school with an incredible amount of homework. Stress levels for good students are through the roof. New administration is inundating kids with homework. Most of the students don't care and don't do homework, but the best students--who don't need this amount of homework--are being ground down. Not just honors/AP programs either. Regular classes have a ton of homework too--and AP classes are guaranteed a double load of homework (they brag about this.) Arts programs are good, but the academics kill the time for art, sleep...or anything else in life. Lots of homework over breaks and weekends. The teaching is good, but again, it's been too difficult to appreciate the positives when the homework load is killing. Principal doesn't care that the best students are suffering. Would probably be a better school if the quality of students was better, but too many underachievers (cutting school seems to be a big problem). Sadly, the school could be really good if they would just realize that more homework is not the cure for everything."
