"peer pressure is the most thing that happens in this school. kids are being peer pressure everyday of there life's by there friends most likely but then again there fake friends. they don't notice that there fake friends don't give a crap about them they just want to see them go down the bad lane and then laugh at them but they don't realize all the peer pressure. the kids are not racial at much but it sometimes happens which needs to be stopped. everyone is accepted in this school no matte race or beauty whatever it is."

"I think the teachers are okay there are great teachers sometimes there are bad teachers sometimes you get the help you actually need some teachers will actually help unlike others. sometimes the teachers can be rude and will not give you the best grade you deserve enough though you go to class and do your work. for example this year for my science class which I was taken to get extra help because am not a fan of science its hard for me I struggle in science at times. but am not embarrassed.the teacher I had was very disrespectful to the class and my self he picks and choose the kids he likes. he complains about the school that he doesn't wanna be a teacher there and hes tired of hill crest high school. so rude. I went along with it never disrespected him or anything I went to class on time did all his work do what i have to do and it was so unfair that he failed me with an 55 because god knows why i dont have the answer for that but in my concern that's not the grade I deserved and i passed his last test how do you drop someone from a 90 to 55 that's what I try to get an answer of I was so angry and upset and still am. I feel like the teachers grade you based on the effort you put in. but basically he didn't fail me because I deserved that he failed me based on other students and the people I surrounded where else would I sit I don't know but he was completely wrong for what he did so i spoke up and no one did anything about it. its just so unfair."

"Most teachers are distinct from one another as to some have unorthodox teaching methods. These methods push students to their full potential and urge them to think outside of the box, which to me is remarkable because this generation needs more critical thinkers. Some teachers are also very structured in their lessons and this helps students have an organized way of thinking."

"The teachers at my school treat all students with the same respect disregarding race, ethnicity, background, or culture. They guide students in the right path especially giving advice about college and future career choices."

"Hillcrest High school js one of the best schools in New york City . I highly recommend new immigrant students to attend Hillcrest HS because Teacher/staff always encourages students to stay on task and always motivates them with their best. Every staff members tries to enpower students and adults in Hillcrest are very polite and students are respectful. This school highly affects the students education and parental supports are always available for student whenever they needed. I love the grading policies in Hillcrest and they always tries to give the best opportunities as they can, Hillcrest provides a lot of programs and organizations/clubs and atlethic teams to make sure that students are on task and able to take more challenge and discipline themself to accomplish something new everyday. Hillcrest has such a thing called SLC meaning Small Learning Communities which also helps students to seperate their future enrollments and processes for their future careers/profession goals. There are 8 SLC careers and each oof the SLCs are very deductive and very productive families."
