"Worked at Adams for a short time. Great school. Grossly overcrowded despite the fact that most freshmen go to the annex. Most teachers are really caring and dedicated to both the students and to the subject matter. Ocassionally the administration appears to be overwhelmed. Statistics don't tell the whole story. Many of the students attending the school are academically deficient yet teachers are expected to bring these students up to the state's standards in a year or so. The teahers do the best they can, but there is just so much that can be done. I am giving this school a four star rating. If the school were to receive more supportive services, it would rank five stars."

"I attended this school for my Junior & Senior year and really like it. The students make the school and even they were bullies keeping busy made me focus on other things."

"Everyone thinks that John Adams is a horrible school and that the teachers aren't doing enough to help the students but what they are missing is the fact that it isn't the school or teacher fault it's their own kids. The teacher do whatever they can and whenever they can for us, and the school has scanning for both entrance and locker rooms. Parents need to stop blaming the school and teachers and start actually looking at how their children act."

"I am a student currently attending John Adams. I am a freshman...attending the jumpstart acadmecy. I find that the school is very helpful. My grades had increased so much .. it was n 85 the first semster in 8th grade and now my current average is a 91! The teachers are wounderful and very helpful My adicice to any students that are planning to attend the high school so be aware that the rumors that u have hear are not true. I thought the same way. They only way that is the best way to pass the high school is to get good grades and be ur own person and dont follow other peole. Be urself n dont get into any fights.. that is the only way to become successful."

"The staff seems to have a lack of interest in the children and since the children feel that energy from the ones that should care, they begin to not care."
