"MY son had a gread freshman year and will be a sophomore next year. The all the teachers are wonderful and willing to help and the principal gets an A+ for running a great school. I am so happy we chose New Utrecht high school."

"I am going to be a sophomore at this school and have very little negative things to say about it. Every school has its bad kids and exceptional kids, but of course the media and newspapers and students like to talk about the troublemakers. Its a good school, and I've rarely seen any fights or bullying. Ever school has its drinkers and smokers so don't let a few bad kids define a whole school. The staff is nice, the kids are polite and funny, and the education is very good as well."

"My son attended this school in its Zoned program (now attending NYU), and this school is just an average school--nothing too spectacular, yet it is not as terrible as some other schools. The only problem I have with this school is the large amount of rowdy, disorderly students, most of which infiltrate the nearby subway station. Also, a lot of students from this school smoke. There are some teachers who really care about your student and will make an effort to contact you; however there are some that just don't care."

"NEW UTRECHT is a reallly, reallly good school. Its definatly safe and has a very good teaching staff! They have alottt of activites and stuff like Virtual Enterprise and many other things!!"
