"The teachers at this school care about the students. The parent involvement is high, but the follow-up of parents can be high and low."

"I feel the teachers are fully involved in the growth of the children's education and go out of their way to help the student, any way they can. The principal is a great leader, constantly encouraging the children to reach higher. The emphasis they put on reading is huge! The students are competitive, in a good way. Pomona is serious about learning, growing, and succeeding. We love this school."

"Pomona School has some of the best and most dedicated teachers in the district. Although it is a Reading First underperforming school, the teachers and administration go above and beyond to reach out to each child and provide individualized instruction. The climate of the school is relaxed, yet energized and hard-working."
