"The teachers are great and will listen, help you, and support you. However we have a limited number of classes because we have a small school."

"I feel my school didn't prepare me for the real world but I have 3 teachers who are always motivating me and telling me you can accomplish anything if you just don't give up. 1 of those three teachers Mr. Holt has recently been telling us how the real world is not easy. He has told us about dealing with taxes, housing, transportation, etc.. He scares us a little by telling us how it'll be hard after college but at least now we know what to look for and what not to."

"This school has great teachers that really care and there are a lot of programs being offered especially for such a small school, but the community is extremely involved in marijuana growth and the kids are too."

"Student involvement is slim to none and there is a lot of peer pressure to do drugs. We've recently had a few kids overdose. Most kids the attend Upper Lake are white or Pomo indian. Everyone is relatively accepting though."

"The academics aren't very rigorous at this school but they are challenging."
