"Exellent academic environment with caring and well qualified Educators and staff. Great school with outstanding facilities, strong partnership between staff and parent involvement to ensure academic excellence. Students learn at testing level skills, challenging academicaly exchange programs. Teachers offer one on one tutoring and are always attentive and healpfull. Principal leads a succesful program with personal attention, knows every child by name and acknowleges his/her academic needs. My child excelled from K-5, and was academically prepared for middle school."

"Vasquez de coronado is a great elementary school. The principal know each child and the parents and is very closely involved with all the students. Also, the people who work @ the office are always willing to help. Great school!"

"We recently moved out of this school- because we moved out of town. The Principal runs a tight ship. Several of the teachers were excellent- and many were just O.K. The 2005 school year will see lots of new teachers due to turnover. For Nogales, this school is one of the best."

"Excellent academic setting, with mostly committed educators. Principal can be hostile and calls both staff and students by last name. Can be abrasive. Excellent support materials including library services available."
