"My child has attended the North East School District for the past six years. The elementary school was quite good-pretty good teachers, strong discipline, a warm and inviting enviroment...the middle school is a different "beast" alltogether. I realize that as children approach the difficult preteens and early teens that they can become less than sweet, but I feel that many of the children at the middle school are out of control. I am not sure what is going on there, but I am certainly not sending my child back next year. There seems to be a lack of overall parent and teacher guidance and, with the exception of the terrifc assistant principle at the school, I am not quite sure about discipline as a whole. I do absolutely have to agree with the other poster that the school district is very cloistered and survives in a bubble type of enviroment."
