"When I first stepped foot into North Miami on August 19, 2013, I was a Freshman. I had so much fun my freshman year until I found out that I had to pass the Algebra 1 end of course exam in order to graduate High School and I was terrible at math. I would never try. Instead, I would blame it on my teacher saying she was the one who wasn't teaching well. One day she told me the only reason why I don't like math is because I don't try. I sat down and thought about it and realized it was true. After she told me that, I started studying, asking questions and I realized my grades started improving in the class but I still felt as if I wasn't going to pass the End of course exam. So the day before the test, I asked her for a packet that consists all the benchmarks that we've covered throughout the school year so I can do one last study and I studied and left it on God. I passed that test the first time with flying colors. In order to pass that test, you must get a 399 and I got a 407. Here I am now a junior who will be graduating in June 2017 and by God's grace all is well. If I had a chance, I would still choose this school because half of everyone I know attends that school and they're some cool people and on top of that, there's some teachers who taught me many things inside and outside of school and I am really thankful for that."

"This school is ok but the parents aren't engage with their child's education as much as they should be. They teacher can only do so much to help the child if the parent isn't cooperating. Some clubs available here are interesting students are able to have a home and feel comfortable here when they really don't at home when they go to clubs. The sports are great like the football team."
