"We almost moved to this school district three years ago but didn't, mostly because of the horrible experience we had in trying to learn more about this school. The principal and front office staff were shockingly unwelcoming. I left feeling this would not be a good place for my family, as we are neither extremely wealthy or white. That said, I have colleagues with children at this school who are happy with it. My suggestion: look to Highland Park or Deerfield schools, instead."

"I'm really impressed with the Meadowbrook teachers, principal, and staff in this school. love the school size and class size, and the fact that the staff really makes our child feel supported. They are able to provide individual skills based learning, meaning that students are able to learn at their own pace and ability (not held back in the subjects in which they excel and/or given support they need in the areas they he needs a bit of extra help). I highly recommend this school and their wonderful teachers!"

"So incredibly impressed with Meadowbrook and everything it has to offer. The teachers are amazing and they offer programs there that are not found at most other schools. My daughter is in the first grade and she is learning Spanish! And the principal is so friendly and approachable. A+++++"

"We recently switched from a private school to Meadowbrook School and are thrilled! The teachers that all 3 of my children have are phenomenal. And importantly, I always know what is going on in each classroom. I am apprised of any difficulties and also achievements my children have. We were nervous to switch, but have been very excited by all that Meadowbrook has to offer."

"My daughter is in 1st grade. She's the youngest in her class as her birthday is Aug. 26 and the cutoff date is Sept. 1st.. We were encouraged not to hold her back because she's a girl, she's has many friends in the neighborhood in her class. We were also told that in the fall she'd be a little behind but come January she'd catch. The teachers were right! Also, they've started a pilot program that helps kids with various difficulties. For example, in Kindergarten she had a private class just for phonics and this year she's being helped with reading and she's improved greatly. The parent's involvement in the classroom and for school functions is encouraged. We help with lunch time 'trashless Tuesday', read stories to the class and help with parties. The parents association organizes many money raising events throughout the year. We love the school!"
