    "I think this school needs to review on how they communicate to the parents when it comes to children eating as well as benifits to the children. The good news I see the teachers really trying to communicate with the kids."

    "Chavez Elementary is a wonderful place for students. My daughter attended the Junior Kindergarten program and is now in Kindergarten. There are many wonderful programs, such as, GATE, guitar lessons, leveled reading program, and a SMART board in every class. The school is run by a wonderful principal and very qualified teachers. I am happy to have my child at this school."

    "my eldest daughter is a 3rd grader at chavez & Spelling Bee Champion 2 years in a row. She has always been a timid child, and chavez brought out the champion in her. they are now starting new extra curricular activities, such as the Girl Scouts!!!. The Principal Mr. rayburn is a God Send."

    "My son has been a student of Chavez school since Kindergarten. He is now about to leave 5th grade, and I am sad to see him go! It's been a wonderful experience. Let's just hope that the success will carry on thru Nettie Waite and beyond!"

    "My second child is attending chavez and so far I'm very happy regarding the education he is receiving. The principal, mr miramontes is an excelent principal and key figure for this school's success!"
