"My daughter went to this school a year ago. We have since moved out of the area and find this school to be sub par. This school neglected my daughter's needs and further more the staff is rude and unaccommodating. Yes, this school does cater to the kids who are well above average academically and also to kids who are developmentally disabled but god forbid you have an average child in this school they will get lost. They do not have a program for kids who achieve at grade level."

"I teach at Brook Forest and it is THEEE BEST school in the state! We have incredible teachers, incredible parents and the brightest students around. We consistently win awards each year for our teaching and the student's achievements. We got a rating of 10/10 for the GreatSchools rating!!! We truly are a big family, working together to teach the children!! I love teaching there!"

"Best school in Illinois for all student populations: those needing a challenge and those needing extra assistance. Class sizes are very small and teachers, parents, and administrators are the best to be found."

"Academically the school is challenging even for the more advanced students but they do not neglect any part of the student population with classroom aids, speech and guidance specialists readily available and dedicated to serving the entire student population. Classroom sizes are small - my third grader has never had more than 19 children in her class. My kids love the art program. The music teacher coordinates two musicals each year. They have an outside company come into the school to offer foreign language classes before or after school. Parental involvement is present in every program and aspect of the school. The principal is new this year and had really big shoes to fill so it is hard to evaluate that aspect. The schools are why we spent the extra money to live in the district and we have not been disappointed."
