"Despite the lack of leadership on the part of the principal, the school is one of the finest in the area. The teachers are very dedicated, child - centered, and hard working while the students are motivated and the parents are supported of their child's education. The only drawback is the lack of administrative leadership within the school. The principal has never been a classroom teacher and it is very obvious to those directly involved with the principal. Also, the principal is very lazy. Without the assistant principal, the school would be a disaster. She does all of the work."

"A New Principal in 2007-8, and he is a fine edition to the excellent staff. Teachers work hard and smart, in a less than perfect building. Kids strive to be the best, and most have adequate resources to do it in. An overall great place to send your child."

"I've had four children attend HMS and have been very pleased with their experience. The teachers care about the kids and helped them get ready for high school."
