"We have been thrilled with our experience at South Ocala Elementary last year and so far this year with our son who is flourishing academically. Mrs. Burgess sets an excellent example and tone as principal and even in the midst of a complete rebuild, the school maintained an A grade. We have found the teachers and staff to be caring and very responsive to the needs of our son and very supportive of parental involvement. The new facilities and technologies available this year are truly an asset to learning."

"South Ocala Elementary teaches every child equally, and expects success towrds college from Kindergarten on up. We have more parental involvement, teacher dedication and specialized curriculum than any other school. When we open our new buildings in Augusts 2010 we will have state of the art wireless computers and printers, Accelerated Ed for higher learners and the staff will be fully trained in Inclusion, RTI and the new Mathematics Standards. We have educational opportunities offered to us daily so the teachers are always up to the minute with Benchmark Standards and how best to teach them with State tested curriculum and methodology. Bottom line is, we love our students and their families!"
