"This school is the best. This is my middle school and I am in 8th grade. It is my second year at Barbers Hill. It is a school with very high standers but pushes you to your limit"

"Beware, TAKS scores drop in certain areas in 7th grade for a reason. Also, the kids are not friendly, some are downright cruel, and it is very cliquish."

"This school has improved dramatically over the last few years. They've gotten rid of several staff members who were very detrimental to the quality of education (although they were moved elsewhere in the district), and have replaced them with quality staff who care about their students. With the changes, this school has cleaned up to be a very acceptable place for students to learn."

"Barbers Hill Middle School is a great school. It provides good discipline, a quality curriculum, and great teachers that work with the students in small classes. My child feels very safe in Barbers Hill because there is no theft or violence to speak of. Overall, a wonderful school!"
