"If your child is an athlete or an academic, then it is a great school. If your child has a disability that falls under mental health, that's another story. I have been fighting this school for 6 moths to get my chikd's needs met. It has been very difficult. The staff there is not educated on mental health disabilities. It's a shame, my child has suffered."

"Be ready for your child to experience alternative lifestyle couples freely making out in the hallways between classes. 3200+ teenagers in one building is insanity."

"Both of my sons attended Sandburg and are now independent, responsible young men. Sandburg was a wonderful experience for my sons as well as a god-send for me. Neither of my sons were interested in sports, but that didn't matter. Sandburg has something for everyone. Both boys were able to find their niche. The staff were very accommodating and and always available to both my sons and myself. Our most memorable staff member was Mr. Johnson. He was always there for my younger son who had lost his dad right before freshman year. Kudos to Sandburg! Thank You from a very grateful parent.....:)"

"This school puts too much emphasis on sports and not enough on academics and other after school activities that don't involve running or a ball."

"Both of my children attended CSHS and received a great education and terrific socialization. They graduated from top colleges, and are now both medical professionals. The variety of programs reaches students of all talent levels. Any student with the intelligence and work ethic can create a curriculum that gives them the keys to unlock virtually any door."
