"Horrible...To start they don't have enough place to park (on activities you have to get early to be able to park). Those that are car riders it's a nightmare.. cars are all the way long Lake Margaret Dr and the wait it's terrifying specially on hot days. The staff at the front office are not that polite, very rude. When you have an emergency and has to pick up your kid 30 minutes before the bell ring (remember it's an emergency) they don't aloud you (you have to wait those 30min to be able and get your kid). I guess Parents here at this school doesn't have rights with their own kids. For last, Why they ask you on the very first day a list for people that are aloud to pick your kid on emergency basic if they are not going to let them have your kids without a note. Helloooo it's an emergency What about if the mom it's at the hospital or worst? Does the emergency pick up list is not valid? The principal is always lost and never ever solve a problem, always is somebodyelse who is in charge. What kind of a principal to give an example. She only give a fake smile and only care about special events that's all."

"I can NOT stand this school. There is complete lack of communication between the teachers and staff themselves, yet alone between them and the parents. I am in full agreement that parent involvement is nessecary for success but this school relies on it so much that I feel I should be recieving a paycheck. The principal and teachers here have given me the impression that due to budget cuts they don't have to work as hard for their salary since it's not a very good one. They use parent involvement as a manipulative excuse to send home homework on things that the teacher hasn't taught in class and we (the parents) are left teaching, not helping, it to our kids. I might as well homeschool my children. Every event that I have attended (school plays, meet the teacher, fudraising events, etc.) I have listened to the staff talk down to the parents like we were children that couldn't follow directions. They are rude and unprofesional. My daughter's transfer here is such a total disappointment that we have decieded to move, AGAIN, before she gets settled too much."

"When we moved here from Alabama, my daughter had learned how to read in kindergarten and was very ready for the first grade at Conway. My son is going to the first grade now and his reading level is no where near that my daughter had when she started first grade. The level effort of teaching kids how to read at Conway should be much better."

"My daughter has now been at Conway for two years (1st and 2nd grades). Although I believe that the student teacher interaction could be better, she has excelled in her academics. Conway may not have a high great schools rating but in my book the school is good enough for me. Besides it's not completely up to the school to make sure the student is learning. The parents need to stay involved and make sure both student and teacher are doing their jobs. If more parents took an interest in their childs education then maybe Conway would have a better rating."

"My son transferred to Conway in Oct' 07, while in first grade on grade level, and left four months later below grade level. I had conferences with his teacher, who explained to me that no additional help is given to the students struggling in class. Basically, the teachers move on with the lessons, and those who are behind continue to struggle. The teacher told me my son had behaviour issues, which he had never had before in his former school. I asked for information to help him at home, none was ever sent home, but always promised to me. Once at his new school, they tested him for appropriate class, and got him at grade level in reading and math. Plus, he had to go to summer school. Now, he is above grade level. And no behavior issues!"
