    "This school is being run to the ground by a principal who believes that she knows all about education when she actually does not. She does not support her staff in anyway, including by stating she does not have any "bad students", stating she has turned away students who would "cause too much disruption", and thinking that the school's teachers need more book-learned education from sitting through countless meetings instead of allowing time for mentoring. The parents don't have any respect for teachers and rarely assist their students with homework. The children at this school are passed from grade to grade without learning anything purely based on the fact they survived and there is no support to assist the failing students. The staff has little knowledge of new technology. The classrooms themselves are falling apart and smell of mold. The furniture in the room is of poor quality and in poor repair. I suggest to any parent to try your luck with the public schools in the area or try to get a waiver to another school, Rio Grande Charter School is not worth the time and money for uniforms."

    "Extremely dedicated faculty and administration. Students are given praise for achievements as well as correction when needed. Parents are encouraged to become actively involved in their children's education. I am proud to be a part of the Rio Grande Charter School of Excellence family."

    "I am very pleased that my sons are attending this school. I find that they both recieve the individual attention that they need. The atmosphere for learning is inspirational. The teachers are highly qualified to teach. They show interest in the academic & social welfare of my kids. I am greatful that I found a school to fit their individual needs. The principal and teachers take a sheer interest in your childrens daily life and I find it great that they know each child individually."
