"The teachers at school are okay. They teach us what we need to learn, sometimes not even that. Some teachers expect us to know everything already and just give us paperwork until the end of the year. Not many teachers want to interact with students but the ones who do are kind and have a higher rate of students passing there class."

"There are many teachers who do not care about their students' education. But the ones that do, make up for the ones that aren't very helpful. There are a handful of teachers who are extremely devoted to helping their students be successful. Many teachers at Pine Ridge genuinely care about their students and want to see them thrive. Almost every student has a strong relationship with at least one teacher, sometimes more."

"Out of my four years in high school, I can honestly say Pine Ridge High school has the most dedicated staff I have ever met."

"The overall quality of Pine Ridge High school's teachers is medium. We have some teachers that are religious with heir grading and teaching practices and the others that figure it out quarter by quarter, winging it. Some teachers allow student to incorporate their technology in class projects, discussions, and busy work. All of the teachers seem semi knowledgeable in their own ways. IF that makes any sense. No teacher teaches the same, not even if it's the same subject, chapter, and paragraph. It's all different and diverse and I personally feel we need more structure in order for students to feel academically adequate. Some teachers seem to be more willing to work around practice schedules for tutoring or grade changes or simply re explaining the lesson and work but there are also those that once they enter the grade that is where it stays. NO SECOND CHANCES. I personally feel as if our teachers communication skills are pretty well because regardless of their teaching styles they all manage to get their point across to their students. Most teachers with grades, fall behind. They give us busy work four days in a row and haven't managed to grade the first thing we've turned in by the third assignment. The expect us as students to keep up with missing work but if we have turned it in and it still has missing in the gradebook, how are we supposed to know if our teacher has not lost our work, or a student has not walked away with it as their own?"

"Pine Ridge has very little parent involvement in the school as a whole. Individual clubs and organizations have parent sponsors and chaperons, but they do little to impact the environment of the school. The few times a parent does something that impacts the student body, it's because they complained about a policy that they thought wasn't fair to their student alone, and gets it taken away from the rest of the students. There is no positive involvement by parents in the general school population."
