"I'm a class of 2010 graduate, and would say that overall Pine Ridge is what you make of it just like any other High School. The AP classes are challenging to some extent, however, independent study in order to pass the exams is imperative. There are some great teachers, and faculty at Pine Ridge. Then, obviously, there are others that you wonder why they went into teaching in the first place. There are plenty of clubs to get involved here. Personally, I was heavily involved in Key Club, Student Government, National Honor Society, and HOSA. My extracurricular activity involvement, and effort in academics has landed me in Florida's best college with a more than generous financial offer. Pine Ridge really does try hard to make it's school great. The ball is in YOUR park however, and a student's effort and intentions are the deciding factor in what they'll gain from attending."

"The teachers were the best part. PRHS has a dedicated faculty that's there for you."

"Im in my second year at pine ridge. I havnt noticed any other problems that other high schools dont go through. Teachers do care about everyone there and there are many opprotunities to everyone who goes to pine ridge, people may say its a bad school but most of them never even went to pine ridge or just spent a couple of months or year and did nothing that made them involved with the school or even tried."

"I think Pine ridge is just like every other school. The teachers are there for you and acre alot. but if your a student that doesnt care about whats best for you then you dont belong in any school, no matter how great or how bad it is. Im a junior and Im part of link crew and The captain of the Varsity soccer team. yea pine ridge has its flaws but if you go there with a positive attitude then this school opens up many doors for your future. Again it all depends on the students."

"While it's true some of these reviews are biased, here's some truth about Pine Ridge. For a start, the school is overly lenient. The dress code is barely enforced, except by the occasional 'old-school' teacher who may just send you out for breaking the dress code. Most teachers however, won't even care until you get on their nerves. The curriculum at Pine Ridge isn't the greatest, depending on what classes the student takes. Some classes have a teacher whom lacks motivation, or the ability to control the class without moving forward and meeting the requirements to develop an understanding of the class material. There are many more issues with this school, but this review's limited to 150 words. Put it this way however, if you actually want to succeed and learn something in a good learning environment, go to Deltona, Deland, Mainland, or some other school. Not this one."
